Justine Johnson, an American/British artist, was born in Orange, California. She has a BA in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University, 1983. She studied Shibori and Roketsuzome techniques in Osaka, Japan, from 1984-85. She also worked in Hong Kong from 1985-1992 as a art director. In 1992, she moved to the UK, where she received a BA (1 Hons) in sculpture University of Wales in 1998 and then an MFA from Middlesex University, London, in 2003. She exhibits nationally and internationally.
